Remembering Dad

I love this picture.
Helps me remember that Dad
was a kid once too!

Dad was a Hottie.
No wonder he caught Mom's eye

This shows I have no shame!
This is me and dad. I think I was
about 12 or so. We were at a
Daddy Daughter activity!

This is one of the last pictures taken
of Dad.

It was Dad's birthday on the 1st. I have been
wanting to Post about him all month. I just had a hard
time doing it. (And then trying to get the pictures scanned right
was a joke. I gave up trying to get it right. Can you tell?)

My Dad was my rock! He was always there anytime I needed him.
He was always full of advice even when I did not want it!!
He was usually right! I miss him more then
ever right now as I make these big changes in my life.
I can feel him watching over me and I know that
he is proud of me and stills loves me from the heavens!

I miss you and love him more then any words can express!

I MISS YOU DAD !

What is a Dad ?

What is a Dad? A dad is a person Who's loving and kind,
And often he knows
What you have on your mind. He's someone who listens,
Suggests and defends...
A dad can be one
Of your very best friends! He's proud of your triumphs,
But when things go wrong,
A dad can be patient
And helpful and strong. In all that you do
A dad's love plays a part -
There's always a place for him
Deep in your heart - And each year that passes,
You're even more glad,
More grateful and proud
Just to call him your dad!

Wow! What a way to make a girl cry. I love it! I too have been thinking alot about him and am glad you posted all that. I miss him a lot too. he helped me through lots of tough times just by being there and listening most of the time. He was a great dad and like you said a rock in my life. Thanks for posting that. david scanned all those pictures, so I'll see if I can't post a few as well. Love you.

Beth,
What a tender and sincere reflection on a wonderful person, your dad. We didn't know him real well, but the times we were with him you could feel his love for each of you and his goodness. He is indeed watching over all of you with love.
love, linda
